Elephant Poaching – The Plight Of The African Elephants
Elephant poaching is at crisis levels. If we don't act quickly and efficiently, there will be no more elephants in the wild in a few short years.
There are 400,000 African elephants left alive. That may seem like a lot but it is a small fraction, about 4% of the 10,000,000 elephants that were alive a short 100 years ago.
Elephants are being brutally slaughtered at the rate of 100 each day. That means we have about 10 years before the species is extinct.
The slaughter is often bloody and brutal. Elephants are felled with high power rifles then the poachers move in with chain saws and butcher the elephant for its tusks leaving the animal to die a painful death and its remains to rot in the heat. In other instances, watering holes are poisoned and entire herds are decimated.
Besides impacting the animal itself and local economies, these brutal killings are funding terrorist organizations.

These industries are, to a great extent, unregulated. To learn more about toxins in your home and body and your children, check out The Toxic Truth. The magnitude of the problem will astound you. I further suggest you check into The Silent Soak and download the free e-book that explains 10 simple shifts you can make to protect your kiddos and other family members.
